I'm Thinking Wood

I have been wanting to build a pump track in my backyard for about a year. This spring it is going to get done. After thinking dirt for most of the year I have recently taken a liking to wood pump tracks. I think there are pros and cons for each design but, for me the wood might be the best. Over the next few days I will be measuring and pricing the wood to see the cost difference. What do you think!? Click on the pics to make them bigger!

The Melt Begins!

A recent ride took me through Ambler Pa. and past some family history. My grandparents lived in one of the row homes in the picture. The snow melt has forced me to the road. The days of dry dirt seem like they will never come.

Pump tracks are turning up all over!

40 and Sunny

It seemed tropical compared to the weather we have been having. The feeling of the sun on my face was a good reason to ride for 3 hours. Amazing how a slight change in the temp can give a ride a completely different feel. A great ride!
