Big Bike Race 2010

With the in-laws in town the kids were happy to stay home so I was off to the "wall" solo. The Philadelphia International Bike Race is a true american classic race. Although the list of riders and teams are not what they once were, the race and the course are still worth a visit. I rode the mountain bike from my house through the trails of Valley Green and an hour later I was on top of the Manayunk Wall. For those that have never been to this race the "wall" is the place to view this race. 17% equals slow speeds, suffering, and great viewing. I watched four laps of the 10 and was off for home. It was cool to be able from my house, through singletrack, and end up at an international level bike race!
